My parents are growing old and have experienced several challenges that come along with it.  All their children with exception of my brother live out of town. Makes it pretty tough to be there as often as you would like to help them through the daily experience.  We have been truly blessed and were able to find several woman that have take care of them and loved them as their own.  This necklace was made for one of them.  Rae works the nite shift and stays up all nite to assure they are taken care of.  She sends us updates on their daily doings sharing their ups and their downs.  I am so thankful for all 4 of the ladies that help our parents... for lightning their load as well  as mine.  Love you all!

One of my friends is trying to adopt a baby and so I created this for her.  Giving her hope for that great day when they will be blessed with a little one.  When her husband saw it, he wanted one too!  So..he now wears his necklace everyday.  See what I mean...I love this stuff...I am so excited and happy to share in these special moments for people that I love.

I was so lucky this year to meet a sweet group of woman at the Cancer center in Boulder and was privelaged to make many of them necklaces.   I am a Breast Cancer survivor and have had many people in my life touched by this aweful disease.  I have lost family and friends as well as have many that continue to fight and those that have beat it!  I think we all have loved ones in our life that have been touched one way or another with this painful trial.  This necklace says it all to me...Celebrate Courage...fight and be strong!

I created this necklace for myself.  Each of my seven grandkids are handstamped in all directions.  They are such a blessing in my life and bring me such great joy!  Nothing can take away a bad day like two little arms so tight around your neck you can hardly breath.  I hope they will always remember how to give those hugs even when they are big...cause they make people smile..love you sweet grandbabies!

This necklace was created for a friend whose son was serving on a mission for our Church.  My son also served a mission in Argentina for two years. That's a very long time for one of your children to be away, but am so very proud of him for his dedication and love for his Savior.  Having something to wear, to touch and to hold in some strange way brings them closer to home.  I love this necklace!

This is another example of a Mother's necklace.  Each one is so different and as I look at each one in pictures later...I remember the person that I created it for and the expression on their face when I gave it to them...I wish I could see the face of the person they gave it to...I hear there are alot tears.

This necklace is one of my most popular ones.  It is a great unique gift to give to any mother.  Each of her children's names are handstamped and birthstones are hung in the middle. You can pick your metals in both size and type. The great part about this neckace is that you can have it say anything you want it to.  It's such an honor to make this and I truly believe it becomes a treasured piece to anyone that receives it.  Some have had me put  "I love my children" or "With you always" or "My children" in spanish or polish.  How fun is that.  I love this job!! 

Seven Sisters

Seven Sisters

This necklace was create for my Sisters.  Several years ago, I lost one of my very best friends to pancreatic cancer.  JoAnne was one of my Sisters, just 2 yrs older than me. I loved her so much and miss her so dang much it's hurts to think about it.  Recently, dementia has claimed yet another sister...how does one cope with this evil thief!  It's heartbreaking to see my sweet sister going through this trial in her life.  Her daughter Amy wrote us this poem of the Galaxy Seven Sisters..this was my inspiration for the necklace.
A beautiful star cluster, Twinkles every night, It's called the Seven Sisters, and gives off Heavenly light.  Each sister star is different, Each shines in its own way, but their guiding light and energy, is felt from miles away. Some nights one glows brighter, and then another may, but it takes all seven sisters to keep the clouds away.  We are the Seven Sisters, who are bound to earth today, but shine together, like those stars, and will forever, come what may.  
We all live in different states and yet we are very much a part of each others lives.  And when one of us is not shining so bright the others help us to shine again.  I made each of my sisters one of these necklaces for Christmas and I wear mine almost every day to feel their strength.  I am truly blessed to be born in a family where my  sisters and brothers are truely my best friends!!
